1) Why choose Club Pet NYC?

Club Pet NYC has been providing extraordinary pet care services in New York City since 1991 when Sherman started walking dogs on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Although we've never needed it, Club Pet NYC is fully insured and bonded!

New York Magazine named Club Pet NYC as the Best Dog Walker in New York City. Not only is this a nice accolade, it is also the standard we set each and every day. We are reliable, punctual, and always happy to go the extra mile to provide the care you and your beloved pet(s) need!

2) What New York City neighborhoods does Club Pet NYC cover?

Club Pet NYC provides dog walking services in Manhattan for clients in the Financial District, Battery Park, Tribeca, SoHo, the West Village, the East Village, Chelsea, Gramercy, Murray Hill, Columbus Circle, the Upper West Side, and the Upper East Side.

3) Do you handle special requests or special needs dogs?

We specialize in giving all creatures, great and small, the compassion and personal care they deserve.

If you have a dog with special needs, we will do whatever it takes to cater to her or his needs!

We happily reinforce training techniques and do whatever it takes to help your pets get the attention and exercise they need. Our only criteria is that we are able to provide excellent service.


4) What are Club Pet NYC's hours? Do you provide walks in the evenings and weekends?

Although Club Pet NYC is a 7 day a week operation, our normal hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For evenings and weekends, we have an exceptional off-hours staff. (Note: There's an extra charge for walks during off-hours.)


5) Will my dog get a walk from the same person every day?

Club Pet NYC appreciates the strong, personal bond our professional dog walkers forge with each of the dogs we walk. That's why we have dedicated staff members from Monday through Friday who are assigned to walking routes in each of the Manhattan neighborhoods we serve.

For walks during off-hours, our evening and weekend staff is happy to provide some TLC (tender loving care) and enable your dog(s) to get some outdoor exercise!


6) What happens if my Club Pet NYC walker is sick or on vacation?

If, at any time, your walker is unable to serve your needs for any reason, our management staff will step in and make sure your dog gets the care he or she needs.

Our management staff (Jose, Eric, and Ryan) boasts 50 years of experience! They're outside on the streets of Manhattan every day and know each of the dogs for which we provide care and service.


7) Do you walk dogs in large packs? Will you provide solo walks for my dog?

Club Pet NYC does NOT walk dogs in large packs. Although we do walk most dogs in small groups, we never compromise on safety.

We carefully match dogs so that time together is both safe and fun! Our walking groups are generally limited to 2 to 4 dogs.

Solo walks are also available upon request, and schedule permitting, for an additional charge.


8) Does Club Pet NYC offer house sitting services?

If you don't want to leave your pet at a New York City kennel, rest assured Club Pet NYC provides excellent house sitting services. Our staff provides lots of TLC while maintaining very professional standards and boundaries.

House sitting services from Club Pet NYC are an excellent alternative to putting your pet(s) in a kennel!


9) What does Club Pet NYC do in inclement or extreme weather?

As long as it's safe to walk outside, we continue walking through all sorts of weather! We operate on the same principle as the postal service: neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow keep us from getting the job done!


10) How does billing work?

Rates vary depending on your needs, including the duration and frequency of walks.

We bill monthly via e-mail and accept all methods of payment. Most clients pay via credit card or check.


11) What happens if I need to add a walk? How much notice do I need to give?

Understanding that surprises arise, we're committed to coming through in the clutch. We ask for as much notice as possible, but it's never too late to request a walk. Club Pet NYC is committed to being there for you and your pet(s)!

Since we have a limited weekend staff, we ask for weekend walks to be scheduled by Thursday evening.


12) What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel a walk, our cancelation policy is 12 hours. We just need to know the night before.
