Greetings, Bonjour, Buenas Dias, Buongiorno … Woof!!

Thanks so much for your interest in Club Pet NYC. My name is Sherman Ewing and I started walking dogs in the early 1990's because a neighbor needed some help and I love dogs. I grew up with dogs (and cats, gerbils, hamsters, snakes - we even had a pet raccoon for a short time) - it seemed that I was destined to spend a lot of time with animals. In high school I worked as an assistant trainer at Hammhausen Kennels (now Markenhaus Manor) in Hopewell, New Jersey. After a brief stint in the corporate world following graduation from Columbia University, I decided to follow my heart and thus set out on my dream job - working with dogs!

My goal was simple. I wanted to provide the very best care for people's pets. Required ingredients: love, care, exercise, more love and excellent customer service. 25 years later, Club Pet NYC continues to serve dogs and dog owners throughout Manhattan. We recently followed a number of our longtime clients out to Brooklyn (saying goodbye is a hard thing to do!), and are now walking dogs in Brooklyn, too! Club Pet NYC is the sole dog walking outfit to be voted by New York Magazine as Best Dog Walkers in its annual Best of New York edition. A wonderful accolade, though it simply reflects the fact that we love what we do!
