The Sato Project- a charity that goes above and beyond for the pups that need it the most
The Sato Project is a non-profit charitable organization focused on rescuing abandoned and abused dogs in Puerto Rico, where 500,000 or more dogs, known locally as satos, need our help. Many of Club Pet NYC’s clients found their dog through this amazing group! The Sato Project has saved an overall total of 2,700 dogs since 2011, and 1,500 of them were within the last year! They also distributed 69,000 pounds of emergency supplies to other people and organizations across the island during recovery efforts following the horrible devastation of hurricane Maria. Even though the hurricane hit over a year ago, they are STILL recovering and need your help! You can visit their website at www.thesatoproject.org to learn how to volunteer, either by fostering a rescue or by personally assisting in their relief efforts. You can also give a tax-deductible donation by clicking this link www.thesatoproject.org/donate- 1/ Every little bit helps bring hope of a normal life to those who need it most!
